It’s no secret that dogs thrive on attention and learning, but did you know that humans can benefit just as much from training their pets? It’s therapeutic, and it strengthens the bond between you and your best friend.
Helping Hounds incorporates the recommended practices and techniques of the Australian Veterinary Association and Veterinarian Behaviourists. With these proven systems, we can help you enjoy being with a focused and well-mannered dog.
After 20 years as a dog trainer, Jennifer Alleyne has worked with a variety of breeds.
She combines that first-hand experience with the proven technique of positive-reward training to help dogs to communicate and learn new acceptable behaviours that help them to have a quality relationship with their human family.
Jennifer is a recipient of the Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services through the Delta Society. By regularly attending training seminars and conferences, she stays up to date with canine behaviour training and research.
Jennifer has completed certification as a K9 Nose Work Instructor, which is a passion of hers to train dogs in this wonderful new sport.
