My Bio

My special interest is making it easy for people to use the most ethical, evidence-based strategies possible when interacting with animals.

Using my background in Genetics research, I specialise in understanding how genetics, learning and environment interact to shape animal behaviour. We can use this knowledge to funnel our pets’ instincts towards 'legal' activities instead of trying to suppress them. This approach means our pets don’t just behave better - they feel better too!

But it’s not just about pets. I want training to make sense for people too. So we’ll work together to find simple evidence-based training and management strategies that fit neatly around other commitments like work or kids.
