Cathy Beer is passionate about pet welfare and pet adoption. Cathy created and managed Australia's first and only national awards program called the Companion Animal Rescue Awards for five years from 2019 to November 2022. The mission of the Rescue Awards was to recognise and celebrate achievements in the rescue and rehoming of companion animals Australia-wide. More information at https://rescueawards.com.au/. Cathy graduated in October 2019 with Delta Institute of Australia cert IV Companion Animal Services. She currently provides private consultations in person or via zoom for pet guardians who need help with training foundation skills and/or addressing their dog's behavioural issues.
