I started Furbaby Retreat out of a need of my own (that I could not meet) to find a low-stress fear-free boarding option for my cat - so I decided to develop one myself. I'm passionate about advocating for the animal (in this case, cat) and making sure that their needs are put first. But I also try to educate their owners about what we learn so that they can provide a better home experience as well, particularly relating to diet, enrichment, grooming and any behavioural quirks we see.
