Presented by Ingrid Groeger-Stone

Mantrailing is a fun, dog-led activity where dogs learn to follow the unique scent of a specific person to find them. It’s fantastic for building confidence in new environments and around new people, suitable for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes—including deaf dogs—while strengthening the bond between dog and handler through choice and teamwork.  It is a non competitive sport.

Learning Objectives

* What is Mantrailing?
* Benefits of Mantrailing for dogs and handler teams
* Identify what dogs are suitable for Mantrailing
* The role of the handler and trail layer in Mantrailing
* How to start your Mantrailing journey and opportunities for progression
* Learn how Mantrailing supports choice, wellbeing, and the dog–handler bond
