My Bio
I have worked and volunteered with dogs in varying capacities for 15 years. As well as helping other people train their dogs, I train my own dogs and compete in various dog sports. As a former scientist and researcher, I understand the importance of continuing my evidence-based learning journey to ensure I follow best practices that don't impact on the welfare of your dog. Addressing the cause of the behaviour rather than the behaviour as a symptom underpins my dog education philosophy. I teach dog training and handling, demonstrate chicken training workshops, and tutor Principles of Animal Behaviour and Welfare at The University of Adelaide's School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences. I have 3 beautiful dogs of my own, including my greatest teacher, Leo the Border Collie. The thing that lights my fire and keeps it burning is helping people live well with their dogs and helping dogs live their best lives.
