Presented by Cassandra Roland
A variety of behavioural issues stem from a dog's inability to calm or self-soothe. If we are not mindful, we could be conditioning and creating overstimulated dogs that have no idea how to be calm in the presence of people and other animals. Our dogs are not born knowing how to be calm. It is our responsibility as their guardians to help them learn to regulate their arousal and make better choices and appropriate outlets for their energy.
This seminar will equip you with the knowledge and skills to recognise what calm looks like and create a zen-like state in your dog.
Learning Objectives
Understanding calm body language in dogs
Understand stress signals in dogs
Developing activities to promote calm canines
