SEO Fundamentals: How to Talk to Robots to Talk to People
Sunday 16th June, 10:30am

In force-free circles operating in an unregulated industry, I often see frustration from professionals when they see well-meaning clients choose services that may be unethical, unqualified and potentially harmful. Learning how to get seen by and speak to our potential clients via the Internet can reduce that frustration and potentially help more people and their animals.

SEO, or search engine optimisation, is the key to being found online. SEO is a constantly changing field with many challenges to navigate. This presentation aims to cover the fundamentals of search engine optimisation and give you concrete actions to better reach clients online.

This talk will cover the following learning objectives:

  • What is search engine optimisation
  • Understand what search engines are looking for
  • Research your audience
  • Monitoring and tracking
  • Things to avoid when looking at SEO
  • Where to go from here
